We ensure that students who embark on a Challenges Abroad program are able to have a positive impact on the world and feel the power of being a Global Citizen. Our Annual Impact Report: 2023 reflects on the work done across our global community, identifying key achievements alongside our three main objectives:
The FutureSense Foundation is a registered charity (UK no. 1132101) that supports community development in some of the poorest regions of the world. With a team based year-round in each country, the FutureSense Foundation is able to work hand-in-hand with the local community, delivering projects that address actual needs to make a long-lasting impact. Our partnership enables us to ensure that all of our Global Citizenship programs have a long-term, sustainable community impact.
The FutureSense Foundation is aligned with the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development and is committed implementing long-term programs with a specific focus on education, health and livelihood support. The 17 Global Goals are the guiding principles that shape our work and ensure that we are part of a coordinated global effort to end inequality.
We have partnered with an organisation called Evertreen to neutralise the carbon footprint generated by our programs. With Evertreen, we will be planting trees in Kenya and Nepal, supporting the local community in the area, generating employment and neutralising carbon emissions. In addition, we encourage students to participate in activities such as tree planting and reducing their use of plastic.
